In 2022 Goslar will be 1100 years old and can look back on a successful history. Emperors, poets, inventors, merchants and many miners shaped the city and its development over the centuries. Mining, power and law have always been closely related in Goslar. The exhibition will be shown at the locations of the events - in the Imperial Palace, in the Goslar Museum and on the Rammelsberg. It presents selected - well-known and unknown - aspects of the history of the town and mine. You can also explore the city and discover houses, squares, places marked with flags and pennants that bear witness to 1100 years of history! The exhibition was created in cooperation between the Department of Culture and the Museum Rammelsberg.
