Energy has always been of crucial importance in mining, as it forms the basis for the operation and further development of mines. From the very beginning, various energy sources and technologies have been used to extract ore and improve working conditions.
The exhibition was prepared by students at Leibniz Universität Hannover under the direction of Prof. Dr. Karl Schneider. It invites visitors to discover the various stages of energy use and to understand how mining has been revolutionized over the centuries.
