The Roeder Gallery is named after its creator, Chief Mines Inspector Christoph Roeder. Our guided tour leads you into a 200 years old system of water channels and machines, which made mining at the Rammelsberg possible for a little over 100 years until electric power was introduced. You will follow the water, which supplied the mine with power, on its underground route to find enormous water wheels which drained the mines and hoisted the ore.
Starting daily at 10 am, every hour until 4 pm.
Duration: 1,25 h.
No reservation required.
