The work at the Rammelsberg ore mine was hard and strenuous for the Rammelsberg miners both underground and above ground. Many pictures from the photo collection of the Rammelsberg World Heritage Site bear witness to this. But alongside the motifs from work, there are always images that “describe” life around it. A selection of such photos, some with unusual motifs, will be exhibited in the thickeners.
