Getting there by bus and train

You can reach Goslar train station with trains from Göttingen, Hannover, Braunschweig and Hallle/ Saale. Right next to the train station, bus 803 leaves for the mining museum („Bergbaumuseum“). You can find a schedule here


Arrival with the World Heritage Shuttle

With the world heritage shuttle - the new line 809 - you travel every 30 minutes from the world heritage information center on the market square to the Rammelsberg.

But you don't just experience the information center and the Rammelsberg, you also drive past 13 stations from which you can access the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Shorten the walking distance between attractions and hop on and off at 13 stops as you please.

With the Harz Holiday Ticket HATIX, which you receive with your guest card, use of the World Heritage shuttle is free.


Getting there by car

Goslar, located in the middle of Germany, can be easily reached by car.

Autobahn A7
Exit „Rhüden“ to B82, follow the signs to „Goslar“

Autobahn A36 / B6
From Braunschweig or Wernigerode to exit B6, follow the signs to „Goslar“; exit B6 at „Goslar Zentrum“

Bundesstraße B241
Follow B241 from Clausthal-Zellerfeld to Goslar, make a right turn onto „Rammelberger Straße“.

Parking

Free parking is available close to the museum facilities (cars and busses). Aditionally, two handicapped parking spaces can be found right next to the barrier free entrance.
