Why is Rammelsberg ore so special? What happened on the work road and in the buildings around it? Children and adults will get answers to these and many other questions on this guided tour above ground - and learn all the essentials about the work of the ore mine. There's a change of perspective on top: take the historic inclined elevator one hundred meters up the mountain and enjoy the view of the surface facilities and the surrounding landscape.

Reservations are advised during holiday season, maximum 14 participants per tour. Offered in German on a daily basis.

Please note: this tour is suitable for toddlers and infants, people using wheelchairs or with impaired mobility. 

Due to the temperature, the inclined lift only runs between 01 April and 31 October.
